CvSU Imus Workshop on Instructional Materials and Syllabus

Day 01 - April 02, 2024

April 2, 2024.  CVSU Imus KMC headed by Ms. Maylene Grace Lucas invited Dr. Teddy F. Tepora to conduct a workshop – training on syllabus and instructional materials enhancement.  Today is the first day of workshop with different topics discussed by our esteemed resource Speaker, Dr. Teddy F. Tepora.  Topics includes copyrights, preparation of modules, preparation of reference books and laboratory manual preparation.  The aim of the workshop is to equipped knowledge and know how on possible approval of the modules, books and laboratory manual.

Day 02 - April 03, 2024


April 3, 2024. Day 2.  Dr. Teddy F. Tepora continued on his topic on instructional materials which focuses more on guidelines for citation and references. Indeed, a blessing because it materialized and provide relevant and coherent information among us, permanent and job order faculty of CvSU Imus Campus.

Dr. Jake Raymund F. Fabregar was the afternoon resource speaker. His topics focuses on the improvement of course syllabus.  Topics includes the important of understanding booms taxonomy, outcome-based education (OBE), outcome-based assessment (OBA), product-based assessment and performance-based assessment. He also magnifies the importance of assessment and the content of the syllabus.  It should be aligned so that the student will know what will they do and the faculty also know what to instruct and assessed based on the syllabus he or she submitted to the university. He also discoursed that 3 to 4 outcome is enough as long as the content attributes Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA).
